Hispanic Heritage Month Call for Artists
Next date: Thursday, July 17, 2025 | 02:00 PM
to Sunday, August 10, 2025 | 11:59 PM
The City of Orlando is seeking local artists to showcase their work in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in the Terrace Gallery at Orlando City Hall. Art has long served as a vital expression of Hispanic culture, and the City is proud to continue this tradition by presenting an annual exhibition that honors the diversity and richness of the Hispanic experience.
For the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Month art exhibition, local visual artists are invited to submit artwork inspired by this year’s national theme: “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.” This theme highlights the importance of celebrating the deep cultural traditions that shape Hispanic identity while embracing the promise and creativity of future generations.
Artists are encouraged to create works that reflect the shared stories, customs, and artistic expressions that define Hispanic heritage — past, present, and future. The exhibition will honor the legacy of those who came before and the visionary spirit of those shaping tomorrow through music, art, literature, and lived experience.
Submissions are due by Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. The 2025 visual arts exhibit will run from September 15 to November 2, 2025.
