Youth/Teen Activities

Junior Counselor: (ages 14-15) This summer camp volunteer program offers teens the opportunity to learn job skills by assisting recreation staff during programs and events. Please call for more details and availability.

EYB - Engelwood Youth Basketball: (ages 5-15) Developmental and instructional league that teaches the fundamentals and fun of basketball. Please call for Registration and Season details. Cost: $40 per player, which includes the jersey.

EYS - Engelwood Youth Soccer: (ages 5-14) Developmental and instructional league that teaches the fundamentals and fun of soccer. Please call for Registration and Season details. Cost: $40 per player, which includes the jersey. Must provide birth certificate and report card at the time of registration.

EYFF – Engelwood Youth Flag Football: (ages 5-14) Developmental and instructional league that teaches the fundamentals of flag football. Please call for Registration and Season details. Cost: $40 per player, which includes the jersey. Must provide birth certificate and report card at the time of registration.

VOLUNTEER COACHES WANTED:   We are currently seeking positions for citizens to volunteer coach for the following sports programs, which include two practices and one game each week.

  • Engelwood Youth Soccer (EYS) April – June
  • Engelwood Youth Basketball (EYB) January  – March
  • Engelwood Youth Flag Football (EYFF) August – September

Open Rec Afternoons (All Ages): Looking for a fun, active way to spend your afternoons? Join us for Open Rec sessions, where community members can enjoy complimentary volleyball or basketball at their leisure! Whether you're looking to practice your skills, play a friendly game, or just get moving, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

  • Select Saturdays from August to May

Adult/Senior Activities

Seniors Program: Program coordinated through Seniors First, Inc., for adults ages 55 and older Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Register through Seniors First, Inc.
