Fire Station 6 – In the Air or on the Ground

The Orlando Fire Station 6, “In the Air or on the Ground,” has proudly served the Baldwin Park community since 1979. The original station was located on Robinson Street inside the Orlando Executive Airport.

On November 18, 2025, the new Fire Station 6 will open on 3900 Showalter Aviation Street, in a more centralized location to give first responders better access to key areas in the station’s first due including, Baldwin Park, The Milk District, East Colonial and The Orlando Executive Airport. This prime location will ensure rapid response times during emergencies, enhancing the overall safety and well-being of our residents.

The new state-of-the-art, 15-913 square foot, four-bay fire station was constructed with first responder health and safety in mind with amenities to best achieve that purpose, including a decontamination room, floor lighting and individual bunk rooms.
