2025 NNO Theme: "150 Years of Progress: A Safer Tomorrow"
In honor of our city's 150th anniversary, we reflect on the strength that has brought us this far and the unity that will guide us forward.
National Night Out (NNO) is America’s night to give crime and drugs a going away party. This year's NNO will be held on October 7, 2025.
National Night Out began in 1984 as an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The Orlando Police Department encourages everyone to turn on their porch light and join their neighbors outside to show they are united against crime and drugs.
NNO gives your neighbors:

- a relaxed atmosphere to get to know the officers who protect and serve them
- an opportunity to meet local officials
