Creole Citizens Police Academy

Join OPD in this five-week course that aims to foster relationships between the police department and the Hispanic community. All courses are taught in Creole. The academy will cover:
  • Crime Prevention
  • Crime Scenarios
  • Body-Worn Cameras
  • Crime Scene Investigations
  • Police Motorcycle Unit
  • Public Information Officers (PIOs)

Sessions will be held at the Orlando Police Department Training Facility on 1250 West South Street each Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m. starting on October 1 until October 29, 2025. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
