The Florida Department of Transportation provided the following update on S.R. 527 (North Orange Avenue) improvements project.
Weather and conditions permitting, the current schedule for lane closures are as follows:
- Wednesday, October 8 through Thursday, October 9, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Motorists can expect alternating northbound and southbound lane closures and flagging operations on North Orange Avenue from Magnolia Avenue to north of Rollins Street for paving operations. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.
- Sunday, October 12 through Thursday, October 16, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Motorists can expect alternating northbound and southbound lane closures and flagging operations on North Orange Avenue from Magnolia Avenue to north of Rollins Street for paving operations. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.
Temporary Parking Restrictions Current Schedule (Northbound)
Street parking will not be allowed in the following sections on S.R. 527 during resurfacing work. Parking will reopen the following morning, weather and conditions permitting:
- 10/8 Wednesday night: N. Magnolia Avenue to Highland Avenue
- 10/9 Thursday night: Highland Avenue to Virginia Drive
- 10/12 Sunday night: Virginia Drive to N. New Hampshire Street
- 10/13 Monday night: N. New Hampshire Street to Princeton Street
Southbound Schedule
- 10/14 Tuesday night: Princeton Street to N. New Hampshire Street
- 10/15 Wednesday night: N. New Hampshire Street to Virginia Drive
- 10/16 Thursday night: Virginia Drive to Highland Avenue
- 10/19 Sunday night: Highland Avenue to N. Magnolia Avenue
