WHAT:
With summer underway and hurricane season in full swing, now is the time to prepare—before a storm appears on the radar.
To help residents safeguard their homes against potential flooding, the City’s Streets and Stormwater Division will provide free premade sandbags. City staff will be on-site to assist with loading sandbags directly into vehicles, and a self-serve option will also be available (while supplies last). Each vehicle is limited to 10 sandbags.
This distribution event offers residents a proactive way to protect their homes and property during hurricane season.
