WHAT:
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the City of Orlando is offering Central Florida residents the perfect opportunity to clean out their closets and clear out tech clutter – all while staying in the comfort of their vehicles. Participants can drop off old electronics and textiles, with city staff on hand to assist with unloading. This event is open to all Central Florida residents and businesses (one truck bed load).
What Can Be Recycled:
- Electronics: Monitors, Televisions (one per household), Phones, Fax Machines, Printers, Stereos, Game Consoles, and other electronic devices.
- Textiles: Clothes, Shoes, Towels, Sheets, Curtains, Stuffed Toys, and other textile items.
- Soft Plastics: Grocery Bags, Bubble Wrap, Plastic Shipping Envelopes, Produce Bags, Food Storage Bags, Pallet Wrap and Stretch Film, and other soft plastics.
